Schedule of Available Sessions and Specialties Total Image Beauty Academy offers a wide variety of courses and sessions to prepare you for your exciting new career, including costmetology and hairstyling, manicuring and pedicuring, shaving, techer training and more. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- COSMETOLOGY AND HAIRSTYLING COURSE Program Description The 1,200 hours Cosmetology and Hairstyling course is devoted to 343 hours of class and subject related instruction, and 857 hours of practical instruction. Completion Time: There are four (4) different schedules available: 10 month course (full- time) – 9:00AM - 3:45PM Monday thru Friday 15 month course (part-time) – 9:00AM - 1:00PM Monday thru Friday 18 month course (evening) – 6:00PM - 10:00PM Monday thru Thursday 12 month course (evening) – 6:00PM - 10:00PM Monday thru Thursday and Saturday from 9:00AM - 5:30PM   MANICURIING COURSE Program Description The 300 hours of Manicure and Pedicure is devoted to theory and practical training with approximately 250 hours for Manicure and 50 hours for Pedicure. Completion Time There are two (2) different schedules available to students: 4 months (day classes) - 9:00AM - 1:00PM Monday thru Thursday 4 months (evening classes) - 6:00PM - 10:00PM Monday thru Thursday   SHAVING COURSE Program Description The 25 hours Shaving Course is provided for beauticians who wish to obtain a Cosmetology and Hairstyling License. Completion Time There are two (2) courses available, and both are offered during six consecutive Mondays: 9:00AM - 1:00PM (day) 6:00PM – 10:00PM (evening)   TEACHER TRAINING COURSE Program Description The 500 hours in teacher training are conducted under the supervision of a licensed teacher. Exact hour division is according to the trainee’s needs, strengths, and weaknesses. A 30 hour college course method of teaching is an additional requirement for the examination and licensing. Completion Time There are two (2) schedules available to students: 5 months (day) 9:00AM - 3:45PM Monday thru Friday 8 months (evening) 6:00PM - 10:00PM Monday thru Friday
